A day out in Verzy forest regional park

Located just over 9 miles from Reims, the regional park next to the village of Verzy is a truly unique natural site, home to almost 800 dwarf beech trees (known as “les faux de Verzy”), making it the world's largest reserve of this tree species.

These twisted beeches with their unique shapes remain a mystery to botanists and never cease to amaze walkers.

You can take a walking trail to observe these trees in their natural woodland environment.
